Homello is a new UK property portal, building the most complete list of homes for sale and to rent in the country. No agent pays to be here, so nothing is priced off the list. Sold prices, floor areas and price per square foot sit beside every listing, and every enquiry goes straight to the agent.
Why we started
Moving home is one of the biggest decisions anyone makes, yet the facts that matter are scattered across a dozen sites: what the street really sold for, how big the rooms are, what the area is like.
Estate and letting agents do the hard work of bringing homes to market, and advertising them has become one of the biggest costs a branch carries, with fees that rise year after year.
Our mission is to build a portal that earns its place by being useful: to home hunters, with the facts that matter in one place, and to agents, by sending them buyers and tenants without sending them a bill.

We are a small team that builds with AI at every step. It lets us run a national portal at a fraction of the usual cost, which is what makes free membership for agents possible.
Complete by design
Nothing is kept off Homello by the price of being here, because listing costs nothing. That is what we are aiming at: the most complete list of homes for sale and to rent in the UK, from high street agents and housebuilders alike.
The whole picture
Wherever the data exists, a home comes with the facts people usually hunt for elsewhere: sold prices back to 1995, floor areas and price per square foot, energy ratings, crime, flood risk, broadband and planning applications nearby.
Readable by machines
Every home is published as clean, structured data and not only as a page, so an AI assistant reads exactly the facts a person sees. The same care goes into the record as into the design.
Fast
Most searches come back in under half a second, because pages render and cache at the edge. We ship improvements every week and listings refresh every day.
Honest by default
Rents always lead with the monthly figure, with the agent’s own wording beside it. Sold prices come straight from HM Land Registry, and we say where every number comes from.

Structured, not scraped
Every listing publishes schema.org data beside the page: the address, coordinates, bedrooms, property type, the price and the agent offering it. An assistant reads the same facts a person sees instead of guessing at the marketing copy.
One rent, one meaning
A home advertised at £1,050 per week is published as a monthly figure, on the page and in the structured data alike. Nothing reading us has to work out whether a rent is weekly, monthly or quarterly.
Numbers kept as numbers
Sold prices from HM Land Registry, floor area and price per square foot are fields on the record, not sentences buried in a description that something has to pull them back out of.
Fast enough to answer with
Pages render at the edge and results are cached there, so a search typically comes back in under half a second. That is quick enough to sit inside an answer, rather than a tab someone opens afterwards.
Open to read
We allow AI crawlers, and everything a person can see is there without an account or a paywall in front of it.
Every agent, every home
Our aim is the most complete list of homes for sale and to rent in the UK: every estate and letting agent on one portal, and the housebuilders beside them, so that anyone looking for a home can see everything that is on the market in one place.
No portal has that today, and what it costs to advertise is a large part of why. Rightmove reported average revenue of £1,636 a month per agency advertiser in the first half of 2026, an average across its agents rather than a price list (Rightmove plc, 31 Jul 2026), and in a survey of 411 agents just 31% said their portal of choice was fairly priced (Property Industry Eye, 2 May 2025). When being listed carries a monthly bill, appearing everywhere is a decision each branch and each housebuilder has to weigh up, and some decide against it. The homes they hold back are the ones a buyer never gets to see.
Listing on Homello is free and there is no contract, so that question never comes up. That is what free membership is for: it is how the list gets complete. What listing on Homello involves.
