About Homello

A fairer property portal, for the people moving and the agents who help them.

Homello is a new UK property portal. We put the facts that matter next to every home we show, and we are building it to be on agents’ side, starting with a simple promise on price.

Why we started

Moving home is one of the biggest decisions anyone makes, yet the facts that matter are scattered across a dozen sites: what the street really sold for, how big the rooms are, what the area is like.

Estate and letting agents do the hard work of bringing homes to market, and advertising them has become one of the biggest costs a branch carries, with fees that rise year after year.

Our mission is to build a portal that earns its place by being useful: to home hunters, with the facts that matter in one place, and to agents, with fair prices and a team that listens.

The Homello price promise

£100 + VAT

per branch, per month, for life.

  • No commitment
  • Month-to-month
  • Cancel whenever you like

For comparison, Rightmove reported average revenue of £1,636 a month per agency advertiser in the first half of 2026. That is an average across its agents, not a price list. Rightmove plc, 31 Jul 2026

“For life” means for as long as you are a member. Your price covers every listing and every enquiry, for sales and lettings alike, and it never goes up.

Launch offer

Join in 2026 and pay half: £50 + VAT per branch a month.

For agents who sign up by 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027, membership is £100 + VAT per branch a month.

Every agent, on one portal

Our aim is to be the first property portal with every estate and letting agent in the UK on it, so that anyone looking for a home can see everything for sale or to rent in one place.

We think the way to get there is to be fair: a price every agency can afford, simple terms, and a team agents actually want to work with.

What agents told us, and what we do about it

We read what agents say about property portals in the trade press and surveys. These are the problems that come up again and again.

  1. 01

    Fees that keep going up

Rightmove reported average revenue of £1,636 a month per agency advertiser in the first half of 2026, up 8% on a year earlier. In a survey of 411 agents by We Are Unchained, just 31% said their portal of choice was fairly priced.

Our answer: £100 + VAT per branch a month for life, and half that for agents who join in 2026. The price is written into your agreement.

  2. 02

Contracts that roll on, and prices that change at short notice

Zoopla’s member terms renew automatically for successive 12-month periods unless an order form says otherwise, and allow fee rises on at least 15 days’ notice (clauses 11.1 and 8.10).

Source: Zoopla member terms, Dec 2025

Our answer: Month-to-month membership with no commitment: no long contracts, no rejoining fees, and you can cancel whenever you like.

  3. 03

    Prices agreed behind closed doors

We could not find a published price list for Rightmove, Zoopla or OnTheMarket, so agents have no public benchmark for what anyone else pays.

Our answer: One public price for everyone. A one-office independent pays the same per branch as a national chain.

  4. 04

    Leads that don’t become instructions

The same survey found agents want better leads, not “browsing tenants and serial tyre-kickers”.

Source: Property Industry Eye, 2 May 2025

Our answer: Every enquiry about your listing comes to you, with no charge per lead. When a homeowner asks us for a valuation, they choose which agents hear from them.

How we are different

AI-first

We are a small team that builds with AI at every step. It lets us do the work of a much bigger company without its costs, and low costs are what make the price promise possible.

Fast

We ship improvements every week, and listings refresh every day. When an agent tells us something is wrong or missing, we aim to fix it the same week.

The whole picture

Wherever the data exists, a home comes with the facts people usually hunt for elsewhere: sold prices back to 1995, floor areas and price per square foot, energy ratings, crime, flood risk, broadband and planning applications nearby.

Honest by default

Rents always lead with the monthly figure, with the agent’s own wording beside it. Sold prices come straight from HM Land Registry, and we say where every number comes from.

For home hunters

  • Free to use, always. No account needed to search.
  • We don’t sell your personal data.
  • Your enquiry goes to the agent you chose.
  • Sold prices, area facts and floor areas shown on the listing itself, not locked behind a sign-up.
