The downland is rich in flora and fauna including common and pyramidal orchids, butterflies such as Common Blue, Marsh Fritillary butterfly, farmland birds corn bunting, yellow hammer, red poll, tree sparrow, linnet, skylark and gold finches. 48 different types of grasses and downland flowers have been recorded across the farm. Juniper scrapes can be found within Haycombe and Littlecombe, providing an ideal competition-free conditions for new, young juniper plants to establish and grow, part of the Wylye Valley Farmers Juniper Restoration project.
